First Steps in the Coaching Process

The materials used by Fast Track Coaching have been written over eight years. All materials have been developed whilst working with business operators 'hands on' in their businesses. These materials are not formulated in an educational institution but in the offices, stores and warehouses of actual clients. They are used because they get results.

Services and strategies are tailor made to meet the needs of each client. A typical coaching relationship involves the following three steps;

Step 1: Initial Business Review

  • Establish personal goals
  • Establish long term business goals (3 years)
  • Identify short term issues & remedial actions
  • SWOT Analysis of current business against three year goals

Step 2: Project Manage Goals
Rather than develop lengthy business plans, Fast Track Coaching concentrates on project managing the achievement of the long term goals. We ensure a clear destination is established for the business with benchmark goals to be achieved.

Step 3: Implementation
A business coach plays a key role in ensuring the business operator stays on track in implementing the agreed changes and in achieving the desired goals.

  • Emailing of results hoc emails and telephone discussions to review issues of concern

In addition, a business coach is a person you can work with to discuss issues or concerns. It is common for clients to want to meet to have a discussion about a series of issues or concerns they may have about the business or to deal with a difficult situation.
